The Time of Giving!

We love giving people happy smiles, especially those in need! We are accepting new unwrapped toys for the CHUM Christmas Wish up until December 22nd.

The CHUM Christmas Wish program has become one of the largest distributors of toys to children in need in the Greater Toronto Area.

ALSO, we have the food bank box avaiblable all year around, but why not bring your non-perishable canned foods to help feed the hungry this Christmas. Please contact the office if you would like to donate any toys or non-perishable canned foods.

Have you begun thinking of your New Year's resolutions?

Let us add one that is easy to accomplish and will offer you health and wellness benefits that are far beyond the difficulty of keeping the resolution. Are you ready for it?

Drink more water in 2012!

Your body contains between 50-80% water and needs (6-8 glasses) of water per day to function properly. While most of our daily water intake comes from foods and sources other than simply drinking a glass of water, use this resolution to simplify your water intake. Proper hydration aids in weight control, toxin release, reduces the occurrence or severity of headaches, muscle aches and much more.

To help you remember to drink more water try attaching it to tasks you already do every day.
Here is a simple schedule to show you how to easily include more water in your day.

How Would You Rate Your Smile?

Is it a perfect TEN! A seven, or perhaps even lower?
Does your smile make you look younger, sexier, and smarter? It can.

When you look at pictures do you ever wish your teeth were straighter, whiter, more aligned? Cosmetic dentistry allows dentists to perform porcelain veneer 'smile makeovers' which can address all of these issues. We are delighted to be able to offer this revolutionary technique to our patients.

What are Porcelain Veneers?
Porcelain veneers are custom, porcelain facings that are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth to cover any imperfections and fix your smile. The veneers are very thin, only about 1 mm thick. That same thickness is "smoothed" off the natural tooth surface so when the veneer is bonded to the tooth, the tooth feels and looks the same thickness as before. Uneven, discoloured, or even damaged teeth can be restored or repaired using this procedure.
